OUR STORY
We believe that healthy soil is the heart of every thriving plant and even a thriving planet—and that anyone, anywhere, can build an ecosystem from the ground up with the right tools and a little know-how.
We are 30-year-old parents of two toddlers, working full-time while chasing a deep, lifelong passion for soil health, gardening, and regenerative growing practices. What started as a backyard hobby has grown into a full-scale mission to make living soil simple, accessible, and high-quality for everyone—from apartment plant parents to serious gardeners.
Over the past decade, We’ve experimented with everything from KNF (Korean Natural Farming) inputs to chicken-powered compost systems. We’ve worked on farm and indoor nurseries, built soils from scratch, raised worms, brewed compost teas, made and experimented with homemade pest and fungal controls and tested countless blends and amendments in my own gardens. The goal has always been the same: healthier plants, better soil, and a more sustainable connection to the earth beneath our feet.
At House Plant Soil, we craft and curate premium soil mixes and natural amendments designed for results—no fillers, no gimmicks, just real materials that work. Our worm castings come from a Bison ranch in Alberta, our kelp meal, harvested off Canadian coasts, and our houseplant blends are mixed in small batches, with purpose.
Whether you’re tending to your first Monstera or dialing in a no-till garden bed, we’re here to help you grow with confidence, build healthy soil from the roots up, and bring life back into your growing space.
We are always keen to talk soil so send us a message and thank you for growing with us!
